Firefighter funeral at Our Lady of Hope

Middle Village suffered greatly from the attack on September 11th at the World Trade Center. Among the firefighters lost were Michael Weinberg Kenny Phelan, Kevin Pfeifer and Patrick Waters.

All were model citizens of our community and active in local churches and/or sports programs. They were a huge part of our community in so many ways. We mourn the loss of these wonderful and brave young men. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families. They will always be with us.
