No Trash, Curbside Composting or Recycling Collection on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, 2023

The New York City Department of Sanitation announced that in observance of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, there will be no trash, composting or recycling collection on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Residents who normally receive Monday trash, composting, or recycling collection may place their material at the curb between 4 p.m. and midnight Monday evening for collection starting Tuesday, January 17. Residents should anticipate collection delays, as is common during a holiday week. We appreciate patience as we work to collect the backlog of material.
