Friends of the Maspeth Library

The Friends of the Maspeth Library is a volunteer-based 501c3 nonprofit through the Queens Public Library, working to support our local Maspeth Library. The Friends provide programs, classes, and events for the youth, adults, seniors and families in the community.

We are also advocating for the new roof, interior repairs, and new HVAC system the Maspeth Library needs. Basic Membership is $5, and Full Membership is $25. Last December, FOML held a well-attended Holiday Party for the community. Among the festivities were a Magician, Face Painting, the NYPD giving out child IDs (photo), a Holiday Concert, and games and prizes. Hundreds of goodie bags were given out to the children of Maspeth. Next year, we will also have a Santa Claus for the kids!

You can become a member and support the Maspeth Library by going to the Queens Public Library website, queenslibrary.org, and visit the Friends Page to fill out your information online, mail your check in, or attend a Friends Meeting at the Maspeth Library. Please visit our Facebook or Twitter Page to email us with any questions. You may find us under "Maspeth Library Friends."
