 Absorb the water from a summer storm. This is nothing new and the frequency hasn’t increased. This happens every summer. And to make things worse most of the houses in the areas that are prone to flooding all have illegal apartments in the basement with an illegal bathroom, which adds to those properties flooding. And the driveways with that severe incline into the basement/garage area doesn’t help either.
