The Juniper Berry

The Juniper Berry magazine has a rich tradition in the communities of Middle Village, Maspeth and Elmhurst. It was first published in 1938. The quarterly magazine is an all-volunteer effort and contains articles on crime prevention, neighborhood issues, meeting reports and notices, neighborhood history and photographs, guest articles, editorials and more.

This meeting was extremely informative and important! Very impressed with Mr. Graziano. I wish more young people would take an interest in what is going on. They are in for a very rude awakening.

The ball fields, 1 - 4 , have never been in worst shape - ever , The grass is never cut , not enough dirt , puddles every week , an entire softball season played in unplayable conditions

Young people POV would be dismissed by older community members-“we lived here in this community”, which is a bias comment. Until the senior become welcoming to other POV, young people power will be to ignore JPCA efforts.
