Juniper Valley Park getting patched up

The torn track at Juniper Valley Park was fixed the week of Oct. 15, according to a Parks Department press officer.The Chronicle reported in September that the recently renovated track,it's wonderful that the track has been repaired but if Mr Holden expects some signs to deter vandals and just plain irresponsibe neighbors to obey .... well we have all seen the BBQ's, motor bikes and unleashed dogs etc in Juniper (BTW Maurice has it's problems all summer with soccor clubs using the only ballfield left) I've seen myself bicycles,roller bladers and bicycles on the track as the parkees just watch I hope I'm wrong but I don't feel as if anything is going to change without some sort of parks police issuing tickets

PO Christian Gonzalez was not only an outstanding NCO in Ridgewood and Glendale but also an exceptional officer dedicated to serving our community. His untimely passing is deeply felt by all.
