Parents are now seeking alternatives, but some fear other childcare providers may not have enough space to accommodate affected families.Keeping CTK Daycare Preschool open is essential for working class families and this community as a whole to keep thriving. If we lose CTK Daycare Preschool, there will be negative rippling effects felt throughout the community.
We need CKK to remain open. It’s one of the best programs in our area. The before-care and aftercare is the biggest blessing for working parents like myself. Please help us to keep them open.
This will be a very big burden to all those parents who need that in order for them to continue working.
Wonder how many parents met with our Councilman to discuss this issue? 💪🇺🇸🙏💪
If a women were to have a baby this summer in middle village - where will she turn to at 6 weeks when she is forced to go back to work? Nowhere because ctk was the only place.
Looks like the City of New York will "warehouse the homeless" - in an actual warehouse.
That’s the old star corrugated business ??
I am a bit unclear where/how this is being billed as a "homeless" anything? A quick check indicates it is being sold as a modern warehouse in "industrial" Maspeth. Am I missing something? 🤔🇺🇸💪
Status: Announced/proposed (facing local political and community review concerns)
They are warehousing humans lol
As long as it’s not happening in MV..

FLUSHING AVE IN Maspeth????
The adress is a bit off. When in GPS its right by atlas on the other side of the underpath ,71st ave 74th street is the 55-05 adress. This is supposedly going to be next to the already exisiting shelter in glendale/middlevillage? They must've gotten the wrong photo or adress.
