This November, one of the most important elections in the history of our city will take place. We are at a precipice and if we don’t choose wisely, we may very well fall into an abyss. There are forces out there that want to defund the police, release criminals, tax everyone who lives above the poverty line, and expect us all to own nothing and be happy. It’s clear who has our interests at heart and who is out to harm us. Voting yes on the ballot questions will only hasten the demise of our quality-of-life. It is imperative that every registered voter in Maspeth and Middle Village takes this election seriously and turns out to vote on November 4.
