An air conditioner on the top floor of Grover Cleveland High School once again hosted a Red-tailed Hawk nest and this time it resulted in the hatching of four babies, all of which survived. The nest sits outside a window of the schoolโ€™s library and a faculty member set up a webcam so students could watch the action when they werenโ€™t on campus. The young ones fledged just before school let out for the summer and they have been seen flying around the area since. Red-tailed Hawks tend to reuse successful nests, so this one will likely be providing biology lessons for years to come.
