Update from NYPD 104th Precinct ... See MoreSee Less
So the people that reported it said it took them 7 minutes to respond, Wong posted it took 2 minutes and now this says 3 minutes. Want to guess who is telling the truth?
Was anyone arrested? I read in the post that two patrol cars got their windshields smashed
That wasn’t drag racing 😡
An intersection causing a tactical disadvantage. Maybe the disadvantage was one police car that no one is obviously goin to worry about.
In other words bathing will happen to the animals
wow someone got a summons, that'll teach em.
speed camera on 69th street, maybe a vehicle will be photographed there
What does Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani have to say about this? Just kids having fun?
Antonio Jones
Michael Keane
Morgan Cres
104 and 110 need to put more pressure on the FIO's in their respective commands. These meet-ups are clearly being organized via social media. The FIO's need to be on top that.
Wow a summons!
As long as there’s no consequences, these people will be back again
Neice worked there 30 years ago, never had these problems was shocked.
This wasn’t drag racing this was stupidity. Lighting a fire feet within a gas station??!!!
You all need to get tough, this is noi the old west . Consequences are need not a pat on the back. The old middle village would not stand for this.
SO 1 SUMMONS WAS ISSUED ???? WOW THAT'LL REALLY DETER THEM. THE RESULT OF THAT ENTIRE INCIDENT WAS 1 SUMMONS....THATS A DISGRACE !!!!
Horseshit
Why bother, NYC judges will have them out in no time anyway. Mayor will say they are just kids playing innocent games.
Just call in an airstrike.
Police should wait until These drivers turn themselves in. A message was sent to all NYPD with the sentencing of Sgt Durant. The judge even made a point of highlighting that fact. Please advise your members if they do their job they may be fired, all support and medical benefits for their families gone, separation from their families, and incarcerated for 3-9 years. Heed the warning. Think 3x before engaging with a perpetrator. Also, if an illegal alien father murders someone he may be released into society well before Sgt Duran and even if not his family will still be getting medical benefits and govt assistance? In my opinion.
what the neighborhood needs to do is purchase some bow and arrows straight to the tires!
A borough wide problem
Not everything qualifies for an arrest. Blame the politicians who make the laws.

When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.Than you Phil for addressing this
I want to know who called it in that got a 2 minutes response time.
Thank you for the strong law enforcement support, Councilman.
Other than words, what real action is being done? What a joke. 30 years ago, that would have never happened there.
NY FORGOT.
Too little too late. 1 car out of 100 gets a summons? No arrests? This city is finished. Cops whining they're not appreciated, understaffed, unsupported by elected officials and everyone blaming democrats and liberals is skirting the real issue. Our elected officials have failed us, ALL of them. We are prisoners in our homes, can't wear jewelry, take money out of the bank, go out at night. Its disgusting!
they gotta do a lot more about these inserts. This is a public safety issue stiff fines, and arrest have to be made.

Glad it's getting widespread attention! Shaming the people in charge is the only way to get this addressed. ... See MoreSee Less
Perhaps we're overreacting just a tad? Back in the day behavior like this was confined to industrial and other non-residential areas. I'm not condoning these actions, then or now, but I bet a good percentage of the outraged people participated in similar activities. I know I did.
It's called a Nightstick or Billy Club.
I THINK ITS TIME FOR THE VIGILANTES OF THE 70S TO MAKE A COMEBACK. ONLY WAY THE CITIZENS CAN REGAIN CONTROL
Don't worry, the individuals who smashed the police windshield were eventually caught... and issued a summons...
You voted for this, enjoy!
Welcome to NY people
How about a helicopter or drone dumping paint on them then we can ID them easily.
Gonna be a hell of a summer
Time for rubber bullets.
Yes, they can
Mamdani’s NYC
It’s all fun till someone gets killed
lol. Cops did nothing I heard
Since politicians are useless bring back organized crime and watch how fast this stops
If there are no consequences this illegal behavior will continue! 😡
Given what happened To that Nypd Sergeant for throwing a cooler at someone fleeing, how could any honest New Yorker expect the NYPD to clean this mess up. If ANY force has to be used or a participant gets injured as a result of a chase (which are forbidden for such events) of any kind, the Mayor, the District Attorney, the Complaint Review. Board will all over the police. I feel for the residents but without the support of the Administration, this will not be easily resolved.
Confiscate there cars and this shit will stop
All those cameras that get me doing a mph over the speed limit should be able to ID some of these folks. Rather than the police sitting in their cars and giving me a summons when they think I didn’t fully stop at a stop sign when no person or car was even there they should focus on this stuff. But then again doing that would require some effort
Welcome to NewYorkastan!
Bring back Law and Order.
And why hasn't anyone been arrested?
Yes elections have consequences. Big ones. We are paying for them now . Though I did not vote for any of these useless people.
Just get plate numbers and confiscate the cars. This will stop in a hurry.
Lawmakers call for crackdown? They caused this crap. I love how the government causes the problems and then we lose more rights so they can fix them
If not accountability then no change for the better.

This is totally unacceptable and we need to ask why this continues to go on. NYPD does nothing, Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani does nothing. ... See MoreSee Less

When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.Well. The new IBX rail line stop on Eliot Ave will help put a stop to this. These nice boys and girls can leave their cars at home and take the train stead. 🚆

My uncle, a retired NYC detective lived like 5 doors down from that Mobile station on the left. I worked there as a kid. He’d be rolling over in his grave if he saw that shit today!! SMFH. Used to be a great neighborhood especially Juniper Valley Park!! 🤬
This is insane!
Did the 104 even show up?

This is all orchestrated in the middle class neighborhoods let's see where the next 1 will be its all to make people sell so the developers can come in and buy up your property look at this 1 and tell me what neighborhoods the last couple were in

Thank you to Senator Joe Addabbo for inviting the Drug Enforcement Administration - DEA to our meeting last night. Frank A. Tarentino III is the Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New York Division covering the State of New York and this was his very interesting presentation about fentanyl. ...
