When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted. So, is this for real? Or someone's homework?
Where do you stand on QueensLink Phil Wong?
The question is why some student's imaginary ideas are being forced onto entire neighborhoods
The public does not want this!
Children should not be playing with adults toys
Thank you Phil…

In other words not living there and ruining how community
that shit gonna collapse
Once they start digging under the cemeteries alone should cause outrage. But the juniper swamp will get them in the end.
Sorry. Keep these ideas for state and city owned land. Not private citizens land!!!
Community does not approve
November is a huge election. …….Governor Make your vote count !!!!! Thats where it all begins. Hochul needs to go.
City Hall? This young guy in Gracie Mansion knows nothing about our community. What he sees is on paper. It was up to our elected representatives to make him aware of the consequences but I guess they don’t care enough.
Folks - THEY HATE YOU
Hell bent on destroying neighborhoods like Middle Village.

Here is the language in the Hunter report where they explain that the City is their client and they used their City of Yes/Transit Oriented Development guidelines to come up with their plan. You can pretend it's "just a student project," but this is work DCP would have to do anyway, they just farmed it out to a Master's program that did it for free. The next step after obtaining a Master's in urban planning is to work for DCP as an urban planner, so several people who worked on this as students will likely continue to do so as employees of the City. ... There have been other studies like this which have come to nothing. I remember when some group commissioned by NYC proposed getting rid of all the parking spots under the 7 train in Sunnyside, which would have negatively impacted that shopping corridor.
I wonder how many, if any of the students live in the proposal area. Also as a bonus I would love to know their political leanings.
What can the residents do about it? If such a plan is submitted for approval who does the approving? Are community boards involved? Keep being informed of any true changes in our community and don’t let these program suggestions chase us out of our community
No! No! No! Please No! I wonder how many people that were involved in the Hunter project actually live in the area? How about, we fix our crumbling infrastructure first? Trains flood, roads flood, etc. every time it rains. Just what we need, more over crowding. An what about the electric grid that can not handle the current use? More electric cars, more, gas stoves, more air conditioners. Etc. Etc. Don’t even get me started on the current traffic issues in the area. And from what I understand, there are thousands of apartments just sitting empty around the 5 boros. Construction will cause more traffic. This idea is not good. Sorry Hunter!
Sounds like a land grab to me. What is in it for the people currently in these neighborhoods? How does it help the elderly and handicapped? Are these students even qualified to make such big decisions?
They can use eminent domain to try to take my house but I will be armed to the teeth when they come.
Well Elizabeth Crowley is on the review board!!!! We are doomed!!!!
Housing projects, low income housing. Time to get out folks while your houses still have some value.
I love the verbiage of, “our clients goals”. Their “clients” are funded by my tax dollars to which I have had NO representation. I am so tired of never having a voice.
Thes urban planning programs need to be ahut down.. they are doing great harm to cities across America Any bets most are funded by Developers, It and/or hedge funds

Tsk, tsk, Dept of City Planning has a lot of explaining to do after commissioning a report that decides what should be done with properties the City doesn't own. ... See MoreSee Less

When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.Wow!!! The lies are coming out. MTA/IBX will do anything to try and destroy our community.
'Splaining to do
Good, if true. I would think if the Church were a partner in the destruction of a rooted neighborhood, they would soon find themselves without parishioners. So, I hope they are not part of the agenda.
Since the IBX inception has been published I said I don’t trust a thing with it. I commented since the first posts they would use imminent domain. I’ve also said much of the land around the park has underground water running and was once a swamp the vibrations of a very active train will cause massive problems. Still not one ounce of this sounds as though anyone involved has done an ounce of research or proper planning at all and intends to destroy a multitude of neighborhoods and homes with out proper planning The announcement that they would develop Our Lady of Hope smelled rotten. And it is. This sounds as though the ultra rich are about to put the screws on us As a Middle Village resident with electricity problems I foresee our neighborhood becoming a major third world country with electricity problems. We can’t handle the current demand with out dated infrastructure as is
Obama stated years ago during his Presidency and would break none diverse neighborhoods.
Thank you
This is a disgrace. I went to St. Francis Prep with many Hope students. I was at RA. WE all went to SFP, Malloy, McClancy, or Xavier etc.
I haven’t heard a word of Hope objecting this till now.
With all due respect, the city can fuck right off.
We do not want it! That’s messed up that they did that.
