All - This is it . The City of Yes for Housing Opportunity City Council hearing is less than two weeks away. We must stop this disastrous proposal from becoming law in any way shape or form....City of Yes is the main item on the agenda. We ask all members to come out and find out what you can do to help stop it.

On October 21 and 22, the Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will hold two days of hearings on NYC Planning’s City of Yes Zoning for Housing Opportunity citywide zoning reform proposal.
Day 1 (10/21) will be testimony by City Planning and Day 2 (10/22) will be the only day for public testimony. Sign up to testify:

New York City regulates how land is used throughout the five boroughs. When regulations are changed, the City Council must approve the changes.The DOT has notified my office that Penelope Avenue between 71st Street and 69th Place will be converted from a two-way to a one-way westbound.
This change is scheduled for Thursday, 11/7/24.
