Santino Vicino“Upzoning for stops around Eliot Ave, Grand and Metro… along with Utica. That pretty much means Chase, 7/11, Teddys and former Buon location would be prime for development.

Klea TheoharisIt is ridiculous and misleading for the MTA and the government to suggest that the IBX is a much needed train route between queens and Brooklyn when, in actuality, they will have to tear up private one and two family homes along the route to build high rises to create demand that does not currently exist for this train line. The project requires a population shift to the route to make the project viable otherwise it cannot sustain itself. Of course, this is a real estate developer’s dream, but there is no guaranty demand will ever materialize.

Frederick R. OrestukThe city needs this like a hole in the head. Just a project to keep the people at 347 Madison Ave busy ! Remember Crisis means Cash!

Adam YoungWhy does it say "Brooklyn and Queens that can help meet the desperate shortage of housing"? I see several apartment buildings being built or vacant along Queens Blvd and more being built on Woodhaven. Maspeth is a residential neighborhood and thats why people moved into the area.

Natalie SheeWho really wants this crap. Maybe when Elise Stefanik is voted Governor, this rail could be cancelled. Our neighborhoods are fine the way they are. We don’t need skyscrapers.
