Carol J. BawerFor a while there was a rule prohibiting high profile vehicles from parking less than 10 feet from the corner. It helped me at the corner of 82nd Place and Penelope. There's no way to see over or through SUV's with tinted windows. Maybe just check where there are issues and limit who can park in the spot closest to the corner

Instead of putting them on plazas, triangles, parks or wide sidewalks, they put them wherever they want, with no input or guidance from communities. I've personally seen, in Corona, by Newtown HS, bike racks in the street, taking up let's say 5 parking spots, and across the street, there's a Parks Department Triangle. No benches, no tree pits, no play equipment. Perfect spot for CitiBike racks. The people that select the spots for CitiBike locations probably don't even live in NYC. They just haphazardly and without consideration place them wherever they want. It's high time that communities tell THEM where we want these racks, if we even want them at all. Who's with me?
