The New York City Department of Sanitation announced that in observance of Veterans Day, there will be NO trash, composting nor recycling collection on the holiday, Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

Residents who normally receive Wednesday trash, composting, or recycling collection may place their material at the curb Wednesday evening for collection beginning Thursday, November 12.

NOTE FOR ALL RESIDENTS: Collection delays may occur after a holiday. We appreciate patience as we work to collect the backlog of material.
