The New York City Department of Sanitation announced that there would be no trash, curbside composting, or recycling collection on Juneteenth, Friday, June 19, 2026.

• Residents who normally receive Friday trash, curbside composting, or recycling collection should place their material at the curb Friday evening for collection beginning Saturday, June 20.

NOTE FOR ALL RESIDENTS: Collection delays may occur after a holiday. We appreciate patience as we work to collect the backlog of material.
