The JPCA Executive Board members kicked off their shoes, put on their Sunday clothes and partied the night away at La Bella Cucina as they celebrated their 2009 Christmas Party.
It was a fun night with great food, a singer, “Angela,” who warmed the event with her Christmas songs, mixed with popular tunes from years past to the present.
Owner Joe Passanante worked the room, shaking hands and making everyone feel as though they were in their own living room, eating food that was especially prepared for the occasion.
We thank La Bella Cucina Manager, Mary Innamorata, for her guidance in bringing the event to the table, so to speak. We thank management, who also made everyone feel at home with attentive waiters and other personnel whose only job was to make the party an unforgettable hit.
From the JPCA we thank John Killcommons and Lorraine Sciulli, that's me your friendly reporter, Tony Nunziato from Enchanted Florist on Grand Avenue for again gracing all the ladies with one of his beautiful Christmas corsages. Tony, quietly and efficiently, has been very kind and generous to the JPCA with his beautiful floral arrangements.
We thank our President, Bob Holden, for doing another outstanding job of keeping the JPCA the “influential” civic that it is so often described as in newspaper reports and for giving so much of his personal time to the JPCA.
Finally we thank all our loyal members who continue to support the JPCA, particularly the newcomers who have told us that they are proud to become members of our great JPCA.
The Juniper Park Civic Association has been through turbulent times but we've emerged stronger and more popular than ever. To all our many loyal members, take a bow; you guys and gals are the best!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All!
