Our Lady of Hope
Juniper Park Civic Association

Yesterday the local brats were riding recklessly all over the track at Juniper. One of them hit and ran over a preschooler leaving her with tire marks on her arm. We need enforcement from PEP and NYPD 104th Precinct. It’s going to be a long summer. ... See MoreSee Less
Call it into PD and get checked out. And file a report.
They should be brought home and their parents need to know they too are responsible for their behavior. Discipline starts at home.
That poor little angel I hope her arm is okay
Good luck.
Ouch!
Dear Lord
I hope the little girl is ok. She must have been terrified🥺
I hope the parents took action on the situation
Wow unbelievable
There was a man touching himself on the bench, I did not see this but I was told by good source. I've seen this man many times: about 70, gray messy straight hair and always where's a surgical mask.
Omg. This is getting way out of hand. I hope that little girl is okay.
This is criminal. I know the young teens are the big problem but I saw little (4-8 yo) ones riding bikes on the track while the moms stood near the fence on their phones. Perhaps the running track/soccer field has to be made inaccessible to all bikes.
Cameras might have picked it up. File a police report. Outrageous.
It isn't just kids, adults are reckless too.
Make an assault charge
Direct them to Kissena Park Velodrome.
They will tell us not to let little children play in the park. Add it to the list. Don't walk alone Don't use the mailboxes Don't take money out of the ATM Don't wear jewelry outside
That’s been going on way too Long
Somebody buy a salt gun please 🙏
These e-bikes have to be stopped!!!I guess they are waiting for a someone to get hit and die!!!
Savages. Raised by savages.
Horrible!
They ride crazy all up and down Eliot, blocking sidewalk s, and antagonizing motorist! I see it daily! No respect for pedestrians
I’m so sad to see my hometown, a community I miss and adore, having have to put up with this nonsense. PBQN needs to implement a game plan already.
Move with your kids before they put that IBX in… it’s only going to get worse.
Juniper Park Civic Association is at Juniper Valley Park Track.

Keep your wheels off the track! ... See MoreSee Less
Parks Dept is going to have to lock up the track and only open it up for special events. They do that with Grover Cleveland track on Seneca Ave and Dekalb Ave.
Put nail in the road
Unfortunately some kids today have learned there’s not repercussions or penalties for their actions. Until someone gets injured or worse.
Thanks for saying something. We gotta get the message out. Cops cant do shit. They "busy" eith more serious calls. Honestly we gotta pick our battles on what we handle as a community and what we call cops for. Handle this in house
If authorities can’t stop people from recklessly riding bikes out in the open, what hope will there be for them to keep new bike paths behind homes safe if either the QueensWay or QueensLink is built? At a town hall in Forest Park on June 2, QueenLink proponents proudly listed Phil Wong one of their endorsers, but they couldn’t say how they would protect residents living next to the proposed new paths, and they didn’t know where the funding would come for the new park. It doesn’t make sense me to build a new park when the city isn’t keeping our existing local parks safe, clean and well maintained. Since Phil Wong represents homes that would abut the QueensWay or QueensLink, it would be nice if he would work to protect his constituents from likely dangers instead of endorsing a plan that would likely literally pave the way for those dangers to come to our back doors. Last year, he assured me that the QueensWay wouldn't be built in our lifetimes, but the city is planning to break ground on its first phase at the end of this year. I'm afraid that while he’s asleep at the wheel, the city will authorize irrevocable plans to build another section right behind our homes in the near future.
In the morning people with dogs
Adults have to stand up and speak out when they see this. Supporting Each other is the only way
Put a stick out like in Big Daddy
Follow them home and speak to their parents. Show them what their kids are doing. And put them on notice that the damages will come out of their pockets.
Great thst thru were called out. Hoke they listened
Well done!!
1 lil sign on the fence in front of the bleachers that reads “no wheels of any kind on the track “ something like that - NO ONE READS IT ! It’s facing the field - doesn’t matter nothing is enforced … 🤬🤬
Where is police?
Guess they can’t read
I'd recognize that voice anywhere. He was firm but respectful. They just don't listen. Or, they go away for a few and then return. It's such a shame to see that new track in such disrepair, but the kids aren't the only ones. Food vendors on the track as well. And, this is why we can't have nice things.
Get Parks Dept Police out there
Thank you, sir
Where are the parks department employees?
Dude ur a bozo, kids have been riding bikes, mopeds, motorcycles, at vs, scooters, even skateboards over this for the last 10 years if not more. You really have nothing better to do than harras kids and post clips on Facebook. Wow
Yall are crazy in these comments im sorry but These kids aren’t going to listen especially to Holden I remember when he came to mafera Park they were calling him Joe Biden
Phil Wong We need answers. Solutions. Action Meetings are useless The 104th Precinct is weak There's plenty of evidence All these posts accomplish nothing.
The comments here are disturbing . Slash the tire put a stick in the road … I pray my kid is spoken to nice like the gentleman in the video. Mean adults making comments are disturbing.
Little punks
Slash their tires with a machete
