As per the Commanding Officer of the 104th Precinct, the mobile command on Maurice Ave at 69th Street is there for added protection. There’s been a string of daytime burglaries from Nassau County to Middle Village. The vehicle was previously stationed by Maspeth Federal Savings near Grand Ave and by Walgreens near 80th Street and will be moved throughout the precinct as needed. Council Member Holden is in contact with the 104th Precinct and will provide updates as more is known.
