No Trash or Recycling Collection, nor Street Cleaning on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 18, 2021
The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) announced that in observance of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no trash, recycling, or curbside compost collection, nor street cleaning on Monday, January 18th.
- Residents who normally receive Monday trash or curbside composting collection should place their material out at curbside after 4 p.m. on Monday, January 18th for pickup.
- Residents who normally receive Monday recycling collection should place their material out at curbside after 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 24th for pickup on Monday, January 25th.
Additionally, all DSNY offices will be closed on Monday, January 18th in observance of the holiday.
