They all seem good.

Some of it's good, but much is unnecessary compared to the crisis with the ACC "system".

She needs to fix the problem with the Maspeth Post Office. We have been complaining for years now and it has been going on “deaf” ears.

Is this an election year? Only time you see her! It’s really a reason why we need term limits.

I am just putting this out there. There is no doubt that these organizations in order to acquire government grant dollars from a Left Democrat Legislator like Grace Meng that they will have to submit, if they have not done so already- to the destructive Woke Race and Gender / DEI policies within the organization, in their instruction to students (for these colleges) and their HR Race + Gender hiring practices. Not to comply you will forfeit your grant. This is precisely how the Left ruling elites bring about left social change and using your federal tax dollars to do that.

If they have a license and go through all legal avenues why is there an issue. Like Liquor stores , Same thing. The community has many of them also. Using cannabis outside and or alcohol is a quality of life issue and should be handled by our law enforcement Officers. More often than not , these cannabis stores do attract unsavory customers shall I say.

Isn’t there another one opening right up the block by the laundromat?

Is the irony of this being next to a wine and liquor store lost here?

There is one on Myrtle on Seneca called Late Bloomers, great people own it. What about liquor stores and bars that’s OK people driving drunk. I see nothing wrong with it

How far is it from the other one on Grand.

2nd one on grand in Maspeth

There’s a large one opening soon a few blocks further by 64th Street.

How about a list of the names of CB5 members that voted for this.

I believe there’s another one going to open down grand ave, on the corner by the triangle

I don't smoke or use edibles, so I have no skin in the game. But, why the outrage? It's a legal business. It's really no different than a liquor store, is it? People go there to make a purchase, the point of which is intoxication. I don't remember anyone complaining about liquor stores in the neighborhood. Now, smoking on the street - that should be illegal. I think if liquor and weed are both going to be allowed to be sold, then the same public consumption rules should apply. The difference between the two is that if I'm drinking a beer walking down the street, there isn't an odor that sticks to passers-by for ten minutes.

So what? It’s legal. Would you complain about a liquor store opening up? You have to be 21 to enter. If it bothers you, don’t shop there 🤷‍♀️

I don't know why people don't grow there own.. it's easy... if you can grow a tomato you can grow weed.. it's a weed God's creation

Well it’s door to door to a liquor store so I say fair game.. we have no argument against this one

Come by where I am. There is literally one about every mile or so heading towards the Nassau border depending on which street you are on. Mind you I’m on the border of queens and Nassau.

That's fantastic news, ye ha

I’m not advocating for a cannabis dispensary but I’m not getting upset over it either. I’ve personally seen several people destroy their lives with alcohol, including family members. I’ve never seen anyone completely destroy their lives with weed.

CB5 has been making some bad decisions lately. What's going on ?

Not surprised right next to the liquor store. Next it'll be a pawn shop.

When are we going to finally wake up and realize grand ave and metropolitan ave is a commercial area. They need to add businesses there to bring revenue in. No other businesses go there because it’s a death trap and they rarely succeed. As time evolves everything changes this includes neighborhoods to think we can live in the same locations for generations is a thing of the past. We need to realize everything declines in time in city life. Older owner move to quality of life areas, past, or rent their homes. Renters are not owners and that is the issue that plaques many Queens areas.

Since the legalization of cannabis became a thing, I am seeing more and more patients with cannabis use disorder and smelling it on all the kids outside GCHS, yet we have people in our own neighborhood clapping like trained seals for the placement of a pot shop where the American Legion once was. Sorry, but I don't want to live around these people. I have the smell of this shit coming through my wall as I type this.

I can’t believe the community board votes for this???

There are definitely cases of cannabis induced psychosis, links to Schizophrenia, and cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (which is like a stomach bug with psychosis) likely increasing since usage has gotten to be more wide spread. Kids are definitely smoking it even more and are high in class. In my opinion it also degrades society by making people lazier and stupider. A lot of people smoke weed every day, multiple times per day. Smells horrible! Just another societal failure. Keep voting for self sabotage everyone!

And keep in mind who started all this…https://youtu.be/51jeGAjcYss?si=69REH7BSooeLOeE1

I don’t see why everyone is so upset about it you have to be 21 to go and there are plenty of liquor stores and bars all over. If you don’t like it then don’t go there!!!!
