Community Board 5 reports:
“We received a call from a resident of 78th Street in Middle Village, just off Juniper Blvd South, who said that at 11:30am on Sunday morning, Dec 16th, she was walking with her granddaughter in Juniper Park when a big black dog jumped onto the child and knocked her down. Her granddaughter wasn't harmed, but she certainly was very frightened by this incident.
The caller said that she had called out to the dog's owner to leash the dog when it was heading toward her, but the owner did nothing. She reported it to 911. She just wanted us to know about the incident.
Hope you and yours enjoy all the blessings of this Holiday Season, and a healthy, Happy New Year!”
