On Monday, November 16, 2020 at approximately 7:55 am, at the intersection of Brown Place and 58 Road, Officers responded to a 911 call and observed an unknown female Hispanic unconscious and not breathing. Officers immediately requested EMS to the location. Upon EMS arrival it was determined that the woman, estimated age 30-40, was deceased. Location is currently an active crime scene, and is under investigation by the 104th Precinct Detective Squad. UPDATE 11/17/2020
Good afternoon,
The following is an update in regards to the the incident that took place yesterday, November 16, at 58 Road and Brown Place, Maspeth. The victim has been identified and a note was recovered from the victim’s coat pocket. At this time, there is no criminality or foul play that is suspected. Our investigators have currently deemed this death as a suicide. As always, please feel free to call or write with any questions or concerns.
