The proposal, currently being considered by the Legislature during budget talks, would put off regulations for enforcing the law until 2030.Until after the election. If you demonrats are stupid enough to reelect her ( and we all know you are) it will be back.

I would donate, but the same grass roots effort to block the placement of the men's homeless shelter on Cooper Ave. failed miserably. And as much as I hate saying this, you can't fight City Hall! Case in point...Just like they shoved speed cameras, bike racks everywhere, now 15 mph speed limit near schools, even when school is out, bail reform, sanctuary city, right-to-shelter and other policies down our throats.
The battery storage is not directly a result of the city of yes. It’s backed by a 2019 law supported by Andrew Cuomo. I honestly feel that my taxes are paying people to fight this for me. Write them an insist they do their job. I am reluctant to give money blindly.
It is not likely that one small community can fight a citywide initiative that was voted into existence. Perhaps we will have a slightly better chance of fighting the proposed IBX train line that is currently in the design phase which will run through our communities causing much upheaval and eminent domain issues. It is tied to the City Of Yes initiative, but a separate issue and monetary needs.
