The switch and brake station on the CSX tracks behind Villa Erasmo. Our neighborhood never sees any environmental studies or actions to stop this. Meanwhile, the MTA wants to remove the trees that serve as a sight and sound buffer most of the year so they can install a light rail between Brooklyn and Jackson Heights. We need action from Grace Meng, Senator Michael Gianaris, Senator Joe Addabbo, Nydia Velazquez, Assemblymember Steven Raga, Assembly Members Cruz and Hevesi. ... See MoreSee Less

What does the zoning say?

They should take care of train stations that are falling apart all over the city not trying to destroy nice neighborhoods.

Phil Wong contact him with the video.

Time to sell your house cause it’s coming. Transportation upgrades and new lines are being built all over.

They just cant leave MIDDLE Village alone. It started with ED KOCH CALLING US RACIST.

I wrote many of these representatives. I did not get a response from them. Remember this when you go vote this November. They don’t care about us or our homes and neighborhood.

The MTA needs to be sued for failing to protect residents from noise and air pollution, contamination, and environmental hazards.

They cannot build this light rail. Period. That stupid restaurant is causing problems now with loud music late at night. This neighborhood is finished

They lost all credibility by saying that. We all know crime is up. There are at least 10 thefts of car parts or vehicles every day in the five boroughs.

crime is not down just reporting crime is, because when you call 911 it takes the police so long to show up that people just give up don't report it and go home

Major crime is down, quality of life issues up. It’s hard to hide murders

They re-classify the crimes to a misdemeanor

Just read the newspapers or watch the news on TV. It's the top stories.

Hell no crime is up. They are the mainstream media lies all the time and they lowered so many serious crimes to misdemeanors to make it look like crime has dropped. Meanwhile our streets are full of criminals and the law abiding citizens have to stay locked up to be safe. Make it make sense

All part of the defund the police plan…If cops are told to stand down and early release of criminals…what do you expect? Great way for the statistics and media say crime is down.

Of course not its called reclassification

What a joke, each day there are three killings in the Bronx alone.
