The Parks Department revealed that the flooding problem at the southwestern corner of the ballfields of Maurice/ Frank Principe Park may need to be alleviated by installing a drain larger than the one originally included in the plans. The fields are known to flood, so this should have been apparent to the planners at Parks from the get-go. Let’s hope that the problem can be rectified without a major delay in the completion.
