On Saturday, May 14th, Christ the King H.S.inducted its newest members into the Hall of Fame community: Dorothy Speer, Peter Giffen, Richard Hartman (Posthumously), Ryan Martin & Commanding Officer Mark Wachter. Dorothy Speer a neighborhood historian, was honored for her articles in the Juniper Berry. She has written almost 40 articles for the Juniper Berry during her illustrious career. Mrs. Speer, 94, was unable to attend the Hall of Fame ceremony so the following day Bob Holden, president of the Juniper Park Civic Association and editor of the Juniper Berry presented her with the CK award in her home.
