Many complaints have been received with regard to the Juniper Berry either arriving in people’s mailboxes with its cover torn, pages separated or missing the inside pages. The USPS has admitted that they have inexperienced operators on their automated machines that sort the mail and the result has been the mutilation of many of our magazines. We are a not-for-profit civic association with ALL VOLUNTEERS that do an unbelievable job in producing a GREAT publication. Unfortunately, the weakest link in the production and delivery of the magazine is the United States Postal Service that has experienced a serious decline in the quality of service during the last few years. With a cost of an additional $5.00 replacement for each magazine we still will mail you at first class postage a replacement magazine even though the USPS is at fault. Because of numerous complaints from us and our members the Postal Service is attempting to remedy the situation
