The NYS Liquor Authority (SLA) requires that applicants for on premise licenses (OP) complete their “Standardized Notice Form Providing a 30-Day Notice to a Local Municipality of Community Board” which asks for basic information.

Due to a surge in new licenses, particularly in the Ridgewood Community, and concerns that some applicants were opening establishments in the more industrial areas, it was decided by the Executive Committee of CB5 that more information was required to properly review these notifications, and a detailed “Liquor License Questionnaire” was developed. Recently, CB5 has been encouraging all applicants to close by 2am during weeknights and attend the “NYPD Best Practices for Nightlife Establishments.”

The NYS Liquor Authority provided CB5 with a listing of all the On-Premise (OP) Establishments in our Board area. As of March 10th, they were as follows:
