MTA to swap F and M train routes across the East River, simplifying service

www.yahoo.com

Still a mess - nonetheless.

It's about time. Service should be quicker. The E and M trains will not have to wait for each other to switch tracks at Queens Plaza.

One candidate thinks it’s a great idea without knowing the details.

Effected are you talking about because of noise or structurally?

I wish the word EFFECTED would be more clear? 🤔🇺🇸💪

And he’s not too bright

Over my dead body

Do you really think we currently have good transit between Brooklyn and Queens now

Well, they need to do their homework and actually walk the route!

Can we see a map of the proposed route please?

So the 167 number is unknown? Could it be 0? What does affected mean? We will have more cars and less parking in Middle Village in the next 20 years. Maybe this transit line will help.

All for this train but not if it’s kicking people out of their homes. Put an express bus on that route

How many people need to get to downtown Brooklyn? This is just ludicrous

lol...pretty wild that people are so offended by others opinions they feel the need to comment and then block the person...so Don Mawsey...maybe Michael Fordunski is your daddy and is upset you had to transfer once to go to school...oh well...too bad...🤣😂

Is this even going to be done in our lifetime?

Michael fordunski apparently you must be getting to Brooklyn College from middle village right now. Time to use your college education to consider the full impact on others for "your quicker commute". Being a long time resident of this community I have and still currently use it's transportation system. Some trips do take longer than others, but guess what? I can get anywhere since I am educated enough to figure out my travel route! I would NEVER CONSIDER DISRUPTING A COMMUNITY FOR MY CONVIENINCE! How many families will be DISPLACED? DISRESPECTING deceased by digging under Graves? DESTROYING homes and DISRUPTING families? Oh, That's right, YOU want a faster commute!?! Really? And speaking of my fellow middle village resident- where were you when the amazon, citibike, lithium battery location, other neighborhood concerns were discussed? Funny how some are so self concerned. Maybe you should open your eyes and consider others besides yourself. What a wonderful place this neighborhood was. You should consider yourself very lucky to even be here.

When they extended the lie many years ago they made people move because the plans showed they would need that land. Well those houses are still standing today after all Those people were made To move

You actually want the “Million Dollar Think Tank” to actually go among the peasants aka people to see how it will affect those on all the route changes! That will never happen! They do not care if you’re late for work, appointments, life. This think tank is making changes left and right with no concerns for anyone that uses any form of transit cause they don’t use it they have drivers. I forget how many years ago they came up with shutting down the subway at night forgetting that there are shift workers that rely on buses and trains! It hasn’t been put into action yet at some point it just might.

MTA more trouble ahead

Imagine all the houses that will be damaged doing this work . Take pictures people

Truly Crazy ! The End!, Let’s put 100 pounds of crap in a five pound bag !

It's 2025. Can they not do this without disrupting a neighborhood and its residents?

MTA ..another corrupt entity.

Come celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Johns Pizzeria !!!
Mrs. Rose and Susan have been featured in many articles, social media vlogs, and a book and now its time Elmhurst celebrates them too for their 60 years as a community business and a historic place! Not to mention their historic building and vintage interior is for: pizza, nostalgia, and history lovers combined!

Elmhurst History & Cemeteries Preservation Society has raised awareness of their event and anniversary and has worked to put together a special recognition for Johns Pizzeria as we invited our elected officials to be at this special day as well as presenting them with recognition this coming Sunday, June 22nd at 2:00pm.
