Hello everyone, my family and I just got back from Cancun, Mexico and I wanted to share my experience with you and give you some tips for vacations.
First of all, safety is a huge concern when traveling these days. Be careful with liquids because airport security is tight. They don’t let you have any liquids past the metal detector. They even took my soda! Also when packing, take my advice, stick to only carry-on luggage because then you don’t have to wait on all the extra lines for your luggage. Most important, make sure there are no dangers in your destination before traveling, you always want to feel safe and secure. Check the news for what is going on in the area you will be traveling to. Remember also, if you have pets, make sure to ask a relative or friend to take care of your pet while you’re gone. So let’s move on to my vacation.
I stayed at a place called The Moon Palace. It has many perks you should look for in your vacation including great food, clean rooms, and many pools and restaurants. It was an all-inclusive resort, which is good because everything is paid for in advance. Always read “tripadvisor.com” for information and reviews before you select your resort. Another important thing to look for is your destination’s weather, activities, and exciting places to visit. For example, on my vacation I got to see one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, “Chichen-Itza,” which was very exhilarating. It is an ancient city built by the Mayans over 1000 years ago. It was amazing to see so much history while on vacation.
Cancun is a beautiful city and you should visit it if you can. You can look up more information on Chichen-Itza and the history of the Mayans and their amazing buildings and ancient studies of the stars and planets, trust me it’s very interesting. Remember, like my tour guide said, it’s Chichen-Itza not “Chicken pizza.”
So until next time everybody, enjoy your summer and happy vacationing!
