The corner was formerly the home of the eyesore, BP gas station, and it is now the new home of the Chase Bank.

Real Estate Developer Robin Eshaghpour specializes in purchasing properties, which he then leases to banks. Eshaghpour owns over 30 bank buildings, which he himself has built.

In March 2009, Robin Eshaghpour purchased the old BP gas station property with the hopes of erecting a Chase Bank, together with John T. Guido, Market Director of Real Estate with Chase bank. It was to open in early 2010 but construction delays postponed the opening to last week.

In addition to the beautifully designed building, Chase provided landscaping surrounding the building along with the planting of new trees.

There is no doubt; the new Chase Bank certainly improved the aesthetic beauty of the corner of 74th Street and Eliot Avenue.
