With the introduction of Danny Boy’s Irish Pub and Restaurant two years ago, Middle Village finally has a family friendly neighborhood pub bar and restaurant to call its own. Owners, Bob Murname and Tom Ruth hope that with its eclectic décor and great food, Danny Boy’s is a place you will “call your own.”
Danny Boy’s is open every day for lunch and dinner from noon until 11:00 p.m. On the weekends they also serve brunch and feature the best Irish breakfast in Queens, including fresh homemade Irish Soda bread.
The lunch and dinner menu features American and Continental fare including: great burgers, prime steaks, chops, poultry, pasta and fresh seafood daily. All items are moderately priced from $4.95 to $17.95. The kitchen features various chef’s specials every day, as well as appetizers, snacks and great bar food. There is also a children’s menu at $5.95, which includes unlimited milk, soda or juice and ice cream for dessert.
Danny Boy’s dining room is a comfortable spot. Quaintly decorated with some interesting antiques, it is very deceptive from the street view. You can relax in a booth or on one of the plush green leather banquettes.
Denis DeBoiselle is your host and heads the friendly and efficient Irish wait staff. Service is great and the atmosphere fun. There is even an outdoor garden for dining or drinks when the weather permits.
The folks at Danny Boy’s are committed to Middle Village and the surrounding area. They are generous supporters of the Middle Village Seniors, St. Margaret’s, Our Lady of Hope, St. Adalbert’s, Resurrection Ascension, P.S. 49, and Sacred Heart Church, just to name a few.
So come on in, meet your neighbors and your friends. Whether it’s a leisurely dinner or a quick snack, Danny Boy’s has what you crave. Danny Boy's is also the perfect place for all of your party and catering needs for any occasion.
