Something went very wrong at the intersection of Eliot Ave & 60 Lane in Maspeth. A vehicle of some kind obviously mounted the sidewalk there and caused major damage to the lovely Greenstreet planted there. This Greenstreet project is a joint NYCDOT/DPR Landscaped Area. We contacted Queens Parks Commissioner Dorothy Lewandowski, who responded thusly: “Thank you for reporting this condition. I have forwarded this information to our Greenstreets division for their action.” We’re looking forward to the restoration.
