After complaints from residents on LIE southside, New York State officials conducted sound tests and discovered decibel levels exceeding maximum sound levels. Most of the complaints are from residents living east of 71st Street. State Department of Transportation officials are in the process of polling residents to see how many want sound barriers.
Thankfully no one was injured. We wish these businesses a speedy recovery.

I was at home depot on Maurice Ave parking on the roof I was like that's some fire going on.

Leave our parking alone. WTF is wrong with you people?? You ruined the quality of life for everyone by creating these stupid bike and bus lanes, causing traffic and then blaming us for congestion. It’s time for a lawsuit.

WTF ! I always swore by this city but now it/they suck. Why do they feel it necessary to keep screwing up our streets. Bus lanes, bike lanes, what's next ? Don't they see that it is just making the congestion worse ot better.
What a joke! The city is really encouraging people to leave.

Why even ask? All these surveys are BS. The people it effects have no say. The experts that don’t live here will get their way. Not the people it affects on a daily basis.
