NYC now requires that patrons and employees of restaurants, gyms and theaters provide proof of vaccination. However, pro athletes, performing artists and their staffers who reside outside the city have been given a pass. Naturally, the city created a loophole for the big money sports, film and arts industries while penalizing small businesses where spread of the virus has never been an issue.
