DSNY has issued a Snow Alert for Thurs., Jan 6 beginning at 7pm. Based on current forecasts, up to 6 inches of snow is possible. Info: www1.nyc.gov/assets/dsny/site/resources/press-releases/dsny-issues-snow-alert-for-thursday-januar...

The Workers who collect trash/recycling are the same Workers who plow/salt streets. This means collection will be delayed before storm to prepare our trucks/equipment, and during/after storm for ongoing snow removal.

It’s ok to put out trash/recycling following normal schedule, but snow ops take priority. We will return to pickups as soon as snow ops allow.

Curbside composting is suspended Friday, Jan. 7. We will be in touch for further instructions.

Open Restaurants roadway dining may operate as normal during this snow event if the business owner deems it is safe to do so. Salt spreaders/plows will be working. Restaurant owners may find additional information to prepare their spaces for snow at www1.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/pedestrians/openrestaurants.shtml.

In order to facilitate snow removal operations, Alternate Side Parking regulations, already suspended Thursday, January 6 due to Three King’s Day. Parking meters will remain in effect.
