JPCA President Tony Nunziato, who is also the proprietor of Enchanted Florist on Grand Avenue in Maspeth, decorated his antique 1954 model Chevy truck with flowers and the cover of the last edition of the Juniper Berry, which honored those who have served our country, for the Maspeth Memorial Day Parade on May 26. More about the parade can be found in “Berry Bits.”

Can we get more details about this attempted car jacking and shooting at juniper last week? Wasn’t reported anywhere except from the man’s mother on other neighborhood Facebook groups
