This winter wasn’t all that bad weather-wise, and we even had a warm spell in February. As we enter the spring season, I couldn’t be more excited. In my business, this is a great time of year. From St. Patrick’s Day shamrocks to Easter lilies to Mother’s Day roses, everything’s in bloom. And so is the Juniper Park Civic Association! The Juniper Berry is celebrating its 80th year in continuous publication. We’re updating our bylaws to better reflect what it is that we do as an organization. We’ll be setting up electronic payment of dues. And most importantly, we’re honoring those who served our country in this dynamic issue of our civic magazine. We invite you to join us at the Maspeth Memorial Day Parade on Sunday, May 26th when we will continue to pay tribute to those we lost and all those who served or are currently serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.
