Lily D’Onofrio, the 63-year-old crossing guard assigned to Our Lady of Hope, was allegedly mowed down by Sinead Welsh, 51, of Claran Court in Maspeth on September 26. Welsh was charged with reckless endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and refusing to take a breath test. We are happy to report that Lily completed inpatient physical rehab and came home to a newborn granddaughter.
