A combination of high speed and allegedly alcohol were a dangerous combination on Friday, October 12th. At about 11pm a late model Mustang with four male passenger crashed through the fence and guardrail on the corner of Lutheran Avenue and Juniper Boulevard North. Witnesses say the auto was traveling as high as 80 MPH when it slammed into the fence and careened down to tracks. According to police, all four occupants tried to flee but were caught. Captain Loehle said that the driver had been drinking and was charged with DWI. All four were taken to area hospitals.
