The corner of Eliot Avenue and 74th Street was formerly the home of the eyesore, BP gas station, and it is now the new home of the Chase Bank.
Real Estate Developer Robin Eshaghpour specializes in purchasing properties, which he then leases to banks. Robin Eshaghpour owns over 30 bank buildings, which he himself has built.
In March 2009, Robin purchased the old BP gas station property with the hopes of erecting a Chase Bank, together with John T. Guido, Market Director of Real Estate with Chase bank.
Robin and John have obtained all the required permits and will start to break ground September of this year. At our Juniper Park Civic Town Meeting in April, Robin and John attended to show our community the plans for the construction of the Chase Bank. In addition to the beautifully designed building, Chase will go green with landscaping surrounding the building along with the planting of new trees. The Chase Bank entrance will be at street level with a 2-lane drive through which will exit onto 74th Street. There will also be a parking lot that is estimated to park 18 cars.
There is no doubt; the new Chase Bank will certainly improve the aesthetic beauty of the corner of 74th Street and Eliot Avenue.
The Chase Bank is estimated to open in early 2010.
