On November 11th, a clear day with perfect fall weather, Newtown Historical Society conducted a walking tour of All Faiths Cemetery which focused on raptors. All three falcon species – Merlin, Kestrel and Peregrine – were observed, with the Merlin posing atop a pine tree for all to enjoy. We also saw Red-tailed Hawk which is always a crowd pleaser.
