City Comptroller Scott Stringer revealed that injuries suffered at playgrounds within Juniper Valley Park led to the second highest number of playground-related personal injury claims filed against the city from 2005 to 2014. Juniper had 6 of these claims. Some money has been put toward maintenance of the playground areas, but the Parks Department still has a long way to go to get the park in tip top shape.
