Leopold Friedel, of 28 Throop Avenue, Brooklyn, made many calls on New Year’s Day, and in some way got outside of the city limits as far Middle Village, in Queens County, where at midnight William Repper found him apparently a corpse, half buried in the snow. He was conveyed to a hotel near the Lutheran Cemetery and signs of life remaining, a course of treatment was pursued which revived him. But for the fortunate circumstance that Mr. Repper found him, he would have perished before morning.
