Several FDNY units responded to a second-floor fire at 69-10 Grand Ave. in Maspeth at 10:10 a.m. on Sept. 21. The cause is under investigation. This location has been the site of several fires and a special inspection has been ordered. This building once housed the former Maspeth Theater, which is profiled on page 50.
