Dear Editor,
If you recall my story, “Vuva,” in the Fall 2020 issue, it included drawings by my son Carl. Carl is a Senior Physics Scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. While he is involved in important work, he has a hobby with drawings. On January 17, 2021, I had my 93rd birthday. Carl made a drawing of the Middle Village house in which I and three siblings were born. He did it in the form of a Juniper Berry cover. I enclose it to find out if you would be interested in using it in a Berry issue. If you are, I will prepare a story about Carl, who incidentally had been awarded a McArthur Genius Award. Be well.
Sincerely,
Ben Haber, Flushing
[Ben’s story about Carl is on p.55. And “Sto Lat” to Ben! – Ed.]
