The MTA’s Queens Bus Network Redesign combined with congestion pricing promised “better and more robust” bus service in our area. The local buses have had numerous problems, but the express bus service has sunk to new depths. The express bus lines along Eliot Avenue, QM24/25/34 prior to September had 6 runs every morning and evening, that was reduced to 4 in each direction. This has led to crowding resulting in passengers being denied boarding and having to wait up to a ½ hour for the next bus. An agency that wants people to leave their cars at home should provide the service they need.
