Is that the bathroom by the children's playground near 78th Street?

Suddenly I feel the need to tinkle 😁🇺🇸💪

What was wrong with the old Parky house?

are the handball courts dtill there??

I can't wait to hear the projected cost. Going forward, is there a plan to maintain cleanliness during the operating hours? And while we're at it, how about adding trash and recycling bins throughout the Park along with daily collection so the garbage isn't overflowing. Oh, and let's implement fines for littering, as a means of discouraging littering.

How could it possibly take them a year to remodel that small bathroom?

NOT NECESSARY

Absolute waste of money, nothing wrong with the old parky house

What happened to the survey? What were the results & were they shared with the city?

Majority of neighborhood doesn’t want it. Yet here we are. Open house.

What a disaster this will be. Years of tearing up cemeteries and digging tunnels. Think of the flooding and the rats. Oh happy days. All for what so that a handful of people can walk to a light rail to lovely Jackson Heights or East New York. It takes you no closer to Manhattan than we already are.

What a way to totally destroy two boroughs ! Brooklyn and Queens should abandon NYC and join Nassau, Suffolk becoming the new state of Peconic !

Doing this and making buses free is overkill. Let's pick one or the other please.

It is a huge waste of money

Attended an IBX event tonight. No Q&A but rather an opportunity to go on the record with your comments. People who registered to speak had two minutes to voice their thoughts. It is important that people attend these events and I know that the juniper park civic association is active and engaged in the community.

The people who were for it presented irrelevant arguments such as “ to go to Brooklyn College, so that the elementary school children can take it home, so I can go back to Brooklyn.” PS: this doesn’t make it any easier to go to Brooklyn. You can easily now Take the train at Metro for that. Do your HW. It doesn’t go to Junction to link commuters to other trains. It’s basically a train to Jackson Heights. You can easily take a bus there all along Woodhaven.

There is power in numbers. Show up. Speak up. Organize a huge and very visible protest. There is a comment period until November 26th. Silence is certain defeat.

Dos this really do anything? Once it’s set they dont care what the people want or think ?
