Surrounded by the colors of red and green, this adult male American Robin seems ready for the holidays. Often thought of as a harbinger of spring, the robin lives in our area year-round. After the ground freezes, his diet will switch from mainly insects to berries. In spring, he’ll be after earthworms. It’s always joyful to be in the presence of this familiar yard and park bird.
