Cowbird Triangle in Maspeth, renamed as Technical Sergeant Thomas J. Davey Triangle, is noticeably sinking. What is going on under the pavers is anyone’s guess. The Parks Department might want to inspect this area more frequently, so it can address these issues that develop. This obviously didn’t happen overnight. While they are fixing this, they may want to also install a trash can as this sitting area doesn’t have one which leads to people discarding food wrappers and other items on the ground. A park dedicated to a local fallen WWII hero deserves more attention.
